Celebrate Pride Month at LCC

Join LCC students and employees this month to celebrate the diversity, triumphs and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community.

Here are a few important events:

  • A screening and discussion of “Coming Out: A 50 Year History” will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, in the Centre for Engaged Inclusion in the Gannon Building.
  • Out & Proud Panel and Social will be held 3 p.m. Monday, June 24, in the Grand River Room in the Gannon Building.
  • All month long, take a pic by our rainbow flag on the second floor of Gannon and post it to social media using #PRIDEatLCC to score a free T-shirt from Student Life!

Pride takes place in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall uprising in Manhattan. We are joining colleges and organizations around the country in this commemorative celebration to recognize the impact lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer individuals and their allies have had on history.
