Check your major to be sure financial aid will cover your courses

Reminder: Make sure your major in Banner is correct!

Because of federal regulations, financial aid can only pay for courses in your major or program of study. It is important to keep your major updated so you don’t have to pay for courses without financial aid.

Keeping your major up-to-date also helps you complete on time! Even if you don’t receive financial aid, be sure your major is correct so we can communicate with you about any changes in your program that could impact your required courses.

Adult Resource Center offering child care, tuition grants for summer and fall semesters

Child care and tuition grants are now available to qualifying students for the summer and fall semesters!

The Adult Resource Center is here to help. Resources available include grants to pay for child care as well as tuition, in addition to one-on-one appointments, referrals to community resources and academic advising. The center also provides scholarship assistance to men and women in an occupational career who are a single parent, homemaker, non-traditional career trainee, economically disadvantaged, have limited English language skills, and/or have a disability.

The Adult Resource Center was formerly known as the Women’s Resource Center/Returning Adult Program. The name change was designed to reflect the inclusivity of the service – qualifying women and men are equally eligible.

Visit the Center for Student Support in the StarZone or at to get your application. Priority consideration will be given to applications filed by July 3 for summer and Aug. 22 for fall.
