Drag Show-Student Organization Fundraiser

Lansing Community College’s Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) registered student organization will be having its annual fundraiser Drag Show Saturday, April 30th! Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8! Ticket prices will be $5 in advance or $7 at the door. The Show will have a lot of amazing local performers and all profits will go to help support the GSA. Tipping is highly encouraged so please keep that in mind. April is Counseling Awareness Month

Free, confidential counseling is available at Lansing Community College to assist students with a variety of concerns, including (but not limited to):

  • Overcoming barriers to success
  • Stress management
  • Coping with change and adjusting to college
  • Depression, anxiety, mood disorders
  • Coping with trauma
  • Relationship issues
  • Time management  –  juggling multiple roles
  • Crisis support and intervention

Counselors provide integrative student services that foster personal development, promote student achievement and retention, and increase success. Additionally, LCC counselors provide outreach and classroom presentations.  LCC counselors are available for consultation and classroom presentations on services and pathways to student success throughout the year.

Share Your LCC Experience on April 26– Free Pizza Served!

Share your LCC experience with the Higher Learning Commission.

Lansing Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  Through periodic on-site visits, the HLC examines a wide range of academic and non-academic activities at the College.

LCC’s site visit is scheduled April 25-27, 2016.  You are invited to attend a meeting during the site visit to discuss your experience as a student at LCC.  Pizza and beverages will be served.
