The Common Ground Music Festival is about to begin! The festival runs July 7-12 at Adado Riverfront Park, and the street closures begin on July 1. This year, Common Ground will manage parking in several LCC lots on the Downtown Campus after 4pm Tuesday-Friday and all day Saturday/Sunday. Administrative Services will strive to make a minimal impact on parking for students, staff, and faculty.

- Grand Avenue will be closed between Saginaw St. and Shiawassee St. beginning the morning of July 1 until July 15. The Gannon Ramp is accessible off of Saginaw St. requiring a right turn from Saginaw St. onto Grand Ave. (southbound, wrong way).
- Shiawassee Street will have the westbound lane between Cedar St. and Grand Ave. (the bridge) closed from July 1 to July 15. The eastbound lane will be open to allow access to Cedar St.
- Detours will be posted along traffic areas.
The Gannon Ramp will retain normal operations each day until 4pm during weekdays. Common Ground will manage operations in the Gannon Ramp beginning at 4pm Tuesday-Friday and all day Saturday/Sunday. Common Ground is charging a $7 parking fee to the general public upon entrance of the ramp during those times. You must have your LCC parking pass and StarCard readily visible, otherwise you will be charged $7 to enter the ramp.
Common Ground will also be utilizing Lot I beginning at 4pm Tuesday-Friday and all day Saturday/Sunday.
ADA Accessible parking is available in the Gannon Parking Ramp. Students, staff, and faculty will need to show a StarCard or employee parking permit, and a valid ADA Accessibility/Disability license plate or parking placard.

The Early Learning Children’s Community currently has limited openings available in the school age SCAMP program from June 15 – August 11 for children ages 5-8 years old. This program runs Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and includes meals and field trips. Cost is $170/week. Space is limited.
The Early Learning Children’s Community also has full-time childcare openings in the Toddler program for children who are approximately 16-30 months of age.
