Beginning in June, the LCC Gannon Ramp will undergo construction. Please make note of these temporary changes and plan accordingly.
Construction Dates and Locations
June 1 – July 18: Level 3 of the Gannon Ramp will be closed. Sections of Level 2 will also be closed during this time.
How this affects students: From June 1 – July 18, student parking will be available on Level 1 and Level 2.
How this affects Common Ground: Level 3 of the Gannon Ramp will be closed for Common Ground. However, Level 1 and Level 2 will be open for public parking.

The Banner System will be unavailable this Thursday for maintenance.
Start: 6 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2015

*Note: All efforts will be taken to complete this work as soon as possible, and the Banner system will be brought back up when we are finished with our work.
The following systems will be unavailable during this maintenance window:
– Application Manager (UC4)
– Banner Document Management (BDM)
– Banner INB
– Banner Self Service
– Banner Workflow
– myLCC (Will be available, but the Banner portlets will be unavailable while Banner is offline)
Further Banner Upgrade Details:
ITS has to implement the quarterly Oracle and operating system patches in addition to some Banner module updates. This work would typically be performed during a standard Friday maintenance window, but due to the upcoming Memorial Day weekend starting on May 22nd, it was requested that this window be pulled back on this one occasion to Thursday evening instead. The System Operations Coordinating Committee (SOCC) approved this maintenance window on Thursday as there is no conflict with the academic calendar since this date is between semesters and all post-Spring semester work will have been completed by then. During this time, the affected systems noted above will be unavailable.

Degree Works is a computerized guide to help you and your advisor monitor and plan your pathway toward completion of your certificate(s) and degree(s).
Degree Works compares your coursework against the requirements for your declared major/program to produce an easy-to-read audit divided into blocks (Degree/Certificate, Major/Program, Core, etc.). Check-boxes within each block show whether requirements are completed, in-progress (enrolled courses), or are still needed. With Degree Works you also can run What-If scenarios to try different majors, and your advisor and you can set up plans for future semesters, too.

Beginning in May, several changes and renovations will take place in the Gannon Building, the Gannon Commons, and the West Campus Café. Students are advised to make note of these temporary changes and plan accordingly.
SUMMER HOURS FOR WEST CAMPUS CAFÉ AND THE GANNON COMMONS
The West Campus Café and seating area will be closed from May 8-June 7, 2015. The Café and newly renovated seating area will re-open on June 8.
All food venues in the Gannon Commons will be closed from May 8-June 7, 2015, and will re-open on June 8. The seating area will remain open during regular business hours.
The new summer hours for the Gannon Commons and the West Campus Café are effective June 8-July 30. Summer hours follow:
- Grand Avenue Market: Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
(offering pizza, burgers, hot dogs, salad bar, soup, fries, frozen yogurt, bottled and fountain beverages, and more)
- Subway: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Pizza Hut will be closed for the summer
- Einstein Bros. Bagels will be closed for the summer
- West Campus Café: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
(offering salads, soup, sandwiches, pizza, and more)
GANNON COMMONS RENOVATIONS
Work on the Gannon Building roof will be performed from May 12-26. During this time, the air conditioning in the Commons will be turned off, and the Sports Center (bar area under the main staircase in the Commons) will be closed off for electrical work on the steps.
