A round of Applause! for Maggie Stumpe and Sarah Spencley

This week, we’re applauding Maggie Stumpe of Administrative Services.

“Maggie has tirelessly worked to ensure all employees and students are prepared for an emergency by helping to print and place hundreds of new Emergency Response Guide posters and address labels in every building for every campus over the past two months,” Carol Wolfinger wrote in the award. “She always asks ‘what can I do to help?’ and has a great positive attitude. She is a pleasure to work with and this task couldn’t have been accomplished so efficiently and effectively without her!”

Applause also goes to Sarah Spencley.

“Sarah contributes greatly behind the scenes to support the college’s mission of ensuring all students successfully complete their educational goals,” Julianna Blain wrote in the award. “Sarah works hard, is always willing to help on projects and provides smooth delivery of services in all her tasks. Sarah has an excellent work ethic and is an amazing coworker! She readily and cheerfully helped me complete a large task when I needed support. I admire Sarah’s positive, problem-solving attitude, and her kindness and consideration of those around her.”

This regular “Applause!” column features the good work you and your colleagues do around the college. It’s powered by Applause! Awards, an LCC-wide program designed to recognize you for providing excellent customer service. Know someone who deserves to be featured here? All awards are given by employees, to employees, and everyone is eligible.
