2019-2020 Talent Management System learning plan

LCC often uses an online Talent Management System to make required employee training convenient for you. To help you plan, here is the anticipated 2019-2020 training schedule. You will receive an email when training is assigned, and the email will include the due date for the course.

August 2019:

  • Emergency Evacuation – 3 minutes

September 2019:

  • Title IX – 45 minutes

October 2019:

  • CSI – 30 minutes
  • FMLA/ADA – 15 minutes

November 2019:

  • Violence-Free Workplace – 30 minutes
  • Administrative Policies – 15 minutes

December 2019:

  • No courses assigned

January 2020:

  • Emergency Evacuation – 3 minutes
  • But Wait, There’s More – 10 minutes
  • FERPA – 30 minutes
  • CSA (Clery) – assigned to Campus Security Authorities¬†only – 10 minutes

February 2020:

  • Beyond the Timecard – assigned to support – 15 minutes
  • Beyond the Timecard – assigned to administrators – 15 minutes
  • Student Employment – assigned to managing administrators and full-time clerical support – 30 minutes

March 2020:

  • See a Penny – assigned to all non-faculty – 15 minutes
  • Confidentiality – 15 minutes

April and May 2020:

  • No courses assigned

All courses assigned to total college except as noted. Newly hired employees are assigned courses based upon their role at the college. If a newly hired employee has completed a course that is later reassigned to them through the above annual plan (within 90 days of the first completion), the employee should call HR-OD at 517-483-1879 to have the new assignment removed.

This plan is subject to change. The following courses are in development or are being updated: Accessibility at LCC, Open Educational Resources, Institutional Review Board (IRB), Running TMS Reports, Emergency Evacuation.
