All employees are invited to two collegewide
update meetings on the progress made on our
2017-2020 strategic plan projects.
LCC’s strategic plan includes five focus areas, and each focus area has designated projects designed to move us toward our stated goals and outcomes. In order to allow sufficient time to present and discuss all the projects, the college will host two strategic plan updates in February, each dedicated to a few focus areas.
The sessions are a continuation of our annual “February Fridays.” Every February, the college community gathers to engage in some phase of the strategic planning process.
This year’s updates will be held:
- Engaged Learning and Student Success; and Competitiveness and Innovation: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, on the garden level of HHS
- Community Engagement; Leadership, Culture and Communication; and Resource Management and Fiscal Responsibility: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, on the garden level of HHS
As the two updates will not cover the same
content, employees are invited and encouraged to attend both sessions. Please
note, we are not brainstorming new projects at this point in the strategic
planning cycle. Rather, strategic plan team leaders will provide updates,
answer questions and listen to feedback.
Lunch will be provided each day, and the first half hour will be dedicated to enjoying the meal and conversing with colleagues. The food often goes quickly, so please RSVP to email@example.com by Friday, Feb. 1, so we can get an accurate count.
