Information Technology Services has purchased a Lynda.com Pro license to allow faculty and staff to take advantage of Lynda.com training modules.
Lynda.com is a training site that contains a large number of professionally produced instructional videos. Subjects include photography, web design, MS office skills, educational software, coding, business topics and more. If you are unfamiliar with Lynda.com, go to www.Lynda.com and hover over the LIBRARY link. Here you can see the topics offered and preview lessons.
The license allows up to 20 users at a time to have complete access to the entire Lynda.com library. Users will have April 3 to July 31 to access Lynda.com.
The CTE administers access, and it will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Access is granted for a period of four months and may be renewed as demand allows. At the end of each access period, all participants are asked to complete a brief survey.
To request access, email Laura Cottrell at email@example.com in the CTE by April 2. Please include your full name, your user name (TUID) and your division in the email request.
