Campus invited to spring semester ‘charge-up’ celebration Jan. 4

All college employees are invited and encouraged to attend a celebration event Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at West Campus. The festivities will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the main hallway of West Campus and will include remarks from President Knight, “Lab and Learn” sessions, academic updates by the provost, and of course good food and fellowship as we “charge up” for spring semester! This collegewide event is being held in conjunction with the Jan. 4 faculty professional activity day.

We encourage you to wear comfortable shoes, as West Campus is large and activities will be spread throughout the building. Registration will be available using StarCard readers during the “Lab and Learn” sessions – receive a gift upon registration! Please bring your StarCard with you to West Campus.

Transportation will be available to and from the Downtown Campus. A LCC bus is scheduled to leave the Downtown Campus at 8:15 a.m. and will be located at the CATA bus stop on Shiawassee and Washington. The bus seats 44 people and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The bus will return to the Downtown Campus after lunch at about 12:45 p.m.

We hope to see you at West Campus on Jan. 4. You won’t want to miss it!
