During its Nov. 20 meeting, the Board of Trustees approved a three-year strategic plan that highlights broad college goals and metrics designed to move the school forward.
The plan was developed earlier this year with the help of hundreds of employees who participated in lunch forums to discuss the college’s strengths and areas for improvement. The approved plan includes five focus areas:
- Engaged learning and student success
- Leadership, culture and communication
- Community engagement
- Competitiveness and innovation
- Resource management and fiscal responsibility
Each focus area includes goals, intended outcomes and key performance indicators to help measure progress. Specific projects are yet to be determined. Workgroups will be formed to develop project plans and create action, and those with an interest in serving will have an opportunity to get involved.
The Board also approved a $209,160 blanket purchase order for Adobe Software Licenses. The contract runs Dec. 1 through Nov. 30, 2020, with two one-year options to extend.
The Board next meets 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, in the Administration Building Boardroom. Everyone is welcome to attend.
