Make your voice heard!
LCC will conduct a collegewide climate survey in September to gather input from all employees regarding culture and work environment. The results of this survey will be used to guide strategic decisions and launch needed initiatives for the next several years.
We last conducted a climate survey in 2014, and hundreds of you participated. The results of that survey directly drove decisions collegewide and in departments and programs. Areas created monthly newsletters, held divisionwide meetings, developed yearly retreats for professional development, began using new performance evaluation systems to provide timely feedback to individual employees, and more. We anticipate more improvements in our work culture based on this year’s survey.
The survey launches Monday, Sept. 11, and you will have three weeks to complete it. Your participation is entirely confidential. To ensure your privacy, the survey is conducted by an outside vendor, the Institute for Organizational Excellence at the University of Texas at Austin.
You will be able to complete the survey on- or off-campus, and you are encouraged to use your work time to complete it. Due to the survey’s confidential nature, adjuncts cannot be paid for your time taking it, but are absolutely welcome to complete during downtime, office hours or other on-the-clock time.
