Videos from May’s Star Talks now available

Recordings of presentations by Eliza Robison, Kent Wieland and Jim Luke from May’s Star Talks are now available online.

Star Talks is an annual event held during May’s Professional Activity Days. It is modeled on the popular TED (Technology, Education and Design) Talks, which are based on the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives, and ultimately the world. The TED community consists of curious people who engage with ideas and each other.

Eliza focused on balancing adventure with patience, Kent discussed “things I learned from my mom about how to be an associate dean,” and Jim talked about why he’s so passionate about open learning.
