Library hosting exhibit spotlighting integral role of Arab Americans in US

LCC will host a traveling exhibition this spring honoring the contributions of Arab Americans to the U.S. Armed Forces, the Peace Corps and the diplomatic service.

The exhibit – Patriots & Peacemakers: Arab Americans in Service to Our Country – was created by the Arab American National Museum. It tells true stories of heroism and self-sacrifice that reaffirm the important role Arab Americans have played in our country throughout its history. It features the experiences of 170 individuals throughout the course of American history, beginning with service in the Revolutionary War and continuing through current Peace Corps volunteers.

It will be on display March 10 – May 9 in the 2nd floor atrium of the Library.
