A rollicking, very black comedy about financial greed and predatory capitalism run amok by one of England’s leading feminist playwrights. Inspired by the deregulation of the financial markets in England in the mid 1980’s, the play examines the corrupting influence of money that transcends geography, class, race and gender. But this is no dry history lesson: set amidst the wild world of scrappy traders and global power-brokers, this is a stylish play filled with love and lust, suicide and scandal, featuring a talented cast of LCC students and alumni. Contains adult language/situations.
The cast includes Hannah Feuka, Monica Tanner, Alexsandria Clift, Sally Hecksel, Doak Bloss, Jesse Frawley, Ndegwa McCloud, Connor Kelly, Becca Williams, Ben Guenther, Emilio Pido, Anna Hill, Tobin Bates, Rahman Shareef Muhammad, Steve Lee, and Storm Boyer.
