The 2015-2016 academic year continues to pass quickly, and, based on the new Academic Senate Election Bylaws, the time has come for Senate nominations. The following Senate seats are up for election this spring, and the Senate is now accepting nominations in these areas:
1 Member-at-Large seat (any faculty meeting the criteria below may be nominated regardless of their teaching area)
2 open seats in Social Sciences and Humanities
1 seat in Math and Computer Science
1 seat in English
1 seat in Counseling
1 seat in Business and Economics
1 seat in Design Construction and Technology
1 seat in Public Service Careers
1 seat in Community Workforce Development
CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION: All faculty nominees may be either adjunct or full-time faculty but must have non-probationary status. MAHE Executive Officers are not eligible to run for Senate seats.
Senators completing their terms are eligible for nomination.
All nominations must be sent to the Chris Manning at email@example.com before midnight on February 29th. Include both the name of the faculty member and the area they would represent.
