Free Self-Defense for Women Class

This free self-defense class brings women together in an effort to prevent victimization and increase awareness of protection strategies.  This class was designed to increase confidence, reduce fear, and will examine simple and effective techniques that can be adapted into the life experience of any woman.  Women of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels are welcome.  Friends and family members are invited to join the class with as well. Daughters or granddaughters should be at least 10 years old and must be accompanied by a female parent and/or guardian.

When: Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (lunch on your own 11:30-12:15 p.m.)

Where: Downtown Campus Gym
