Notification to all employees who participate in the Pension Plus plan through MPSERS:

(Michigan Public School Employee Retirement System)

Employees who participate in the Pension Plus Retirement Plan have a choice between traditional pension options and 401(k) and 457 retirement plan options.

If you participate in the 401(k) and 457 options, your investments are managed by ING (now known as Voya).

Voya/Ing will have a representative on campus to provide individual advice sessions related to your 401(k) and 457 accounts.  Sessions are currently being scheduled for:

–        Friday, September 12th from 9:00 am – 3:15 pm @ 45 minute sessions

–        Thursday, September 25th from 9:00 am – 3:15pm @ 45 minute sessions

The advice sessions will take place in the Administration Building at 610 N Capitol Avenue in room 102.

The sessions are each 45 minutes in length and will provide the participant with the ability to work with a licensed Investment Advisor using Voya’s Advisor Service to get fund specific recommendations for their Voya 401(k)/457 portfolios.  These session are provided at no cost to the employee.
