Video Tutorials on Classroom Equipment from Media Services

Did you know Media Services has produced a series of video tutorials on how to use classroom equipment such as teaching stations, projectors, audio, and more?  Most classroom configurations are covered in these short, helpful videos including TLC, West Campus, HHS, Gannon, Mackinaw, A&S, and University Center.

The videos can be accessed via the Media Services – Classroom Services webpage at www.lcc.edu/mediaservices/classroom_services/.  Videos are also being produced for the Livingston, Clinton County, and LCC East campuses.

Lansing Community College recently transformed the Arts & Sciences Building, the college’s main classroom and laboratory facility, into a space that inspires, delights, and triggers a desire to learn.

Please join us for a public open house on Saturday, October 26 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Weight Watcher Sessions to begin

We are beginning our 3rd Weight Watchers Session next week, October 23rd at Washington Court Place Room 110 from 12-1 pm. The session runs for 12 weeks, plus two weeks free for $156 that includes 14 weeks free e-tools.

You’re welcome to attend this Wednesday meeting for FREE at WCP Room 110 from 12-1 p.m.

Free Self Defense Class for Women

Free Self Defense for Women Class

    This program brings women together in an effort to prevent victimization and increase awareness of protection strategies.  This fun and informative class is designed to increase confidence and reduce fear.  The class will examine and practice simple, effective techniques which can be adapted into the life experience of any woman.  Women of all ages, sizes and fitness levels can do these techniques.  Friends and family members are welcome to join the class with you.  Daughters or granddaughters should be at least 10 years old and must be accompanied by parent and/or guardian.

When: Saturday, October 26th, from 9am-3pm (lunch on your own 1130-1215)
